Thank you Joyce for your comment. I am surprised at how well my husband feels and thinks when he is out exercising. He has the same alertness as when he is working on his jigsaw puzzles. Interesting–those are the times when he doesn’t have a headache.

Hi Rachael,
The next several years are going to be life changing. If you want to connect with someone who can relate to what you are going through you can email my daughter, Amy at may_burn23@hotmail.com. Both of our kids (and me) have gone through tremendous growth over the past 4 years–painful, but rewarding.
If you want more tips on how you can help yourself (and your Dad) you can go to my website http://www.hollyeburne.com for brain tips and blogs on nutrition etc. You can also sign up for a newsletter that I send out every 2nd Friday on tips about ‘living your best life’ regardless of your circumstances. I write about my lessons and insights of living with dementia as a person and a baby boomer care giver. Please pass it along to your Mom if you think she is open to it.
All the best. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
Warmly,
Holly
